Program your new BCD-436HP
                 or BCD-536HP in minutes!

 AVAILABLE NOW                                   $75 postpaid
 SD-436

Trying to build your own Favorites lists from the national database is a big job, and requires specialized site information to make the state Digital Trunked Radio System (DTRS) usable.

Without special programming, your radio will look for DTRS talkgroups by spending time searching for more than 220 different transmitter sites around the state. All but a few of these sites will be out of range. This will make your reception pretty unreliable.

Just slip the Denver Radio micro SD card into your radio, and in about 2 minutes, you can easily access all the metro Denver scanning systems.  You'll be amazed at how well you can select, and receive the systems you want to hear.  You can turn on just one system, or several, instead of hearing lots of systems you aren't really interested in when you use the Location-based scanning system using your ZIP Code.

By pressing 3 buttons, you can choose what you want to hear!  Listen to police and fire departments in Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Englewood, Centennial. Wheat Ridge, Arapahoe County, Adams County, Jefferson County, Douglas County, Broomfield County, Weld County, Elbert County, DIA, and much, much more!
Note:  Police departments in red are encrypted, and cannot be monitored.

On the 436 handheld, all you need to do is turn the radio off, open the battery compartment, remove the batteries, and slip the micro SD card into the slot.  Replace the batteries and the battery door, and you're up and scanning!

On the 536 base/mobile, just turn the radio off, remove the SD card from the front panel below the keyboard, slide in the new card, and turn the radio back on!

Along with the SD card, you'll get a Denver Radio Cheat Sheet to help you understand how to use your radio!

Order today, and your scanner will work the way it should.

Programming the EZ-Scan series,
is a challenge!  It's not as "EZ" as they say, unless you use Denver Radio's complete programming card!

Just put the Denver Radio micro SD card into your radio, and in about 2 minutes, you can easily access all the metro Denver radio systems (except Aurora PD, Arvada PD and Westminster PD, which are encrypted).  You'll be amazed at how well you can select, and receive the systems you want to hear.

The programming separates the giant programming database into easy to manage System and County scanlists covering the Front Range from Douglas County to the Wyoming border, including
Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Englewood, Centennial. Wheat Ridge, Arapahoe County, Adams County, Jefferson County, Douglas County, Broomfield County, Weld County, Elbert County, and DIA. Each can easily be turned on and off.  You'll also get a list of all the scanlists so you can decide what you want your scanner to receive.

It's easy to put your new programming into your scanner:
  • Turn the power off
  • Remove the battery cover.
  • The micro SD card is in a slot to the left of the batteries.  Push on it, and it will pop up.
  • Remove it and put the new card in the slot and push it in.
  • Replace the battery cover, and turn the scanner on.  You're all set to select the scanlists you want to hear from the menu.

With your order, you'll receive special Denver Radio documentation that has been developed to help you get the most from your scanner.

GRE and Radio Shack scanner programming cable      PC-2    $29.99

This is the cable that comes with the GRE radios, or that you buy separately from Radio Shack. The computer end has a USB connector, and the radio end is a 3-conductor mini-plug. Programs virtually any GRE or Radio Shack software-programmable scanner made in the last 5 years. Use with the appropriate programming software for your radio. If you don't have the software, Starrsoft has excellent programming software, and so does Butel.  Both are very popular. There is a free trial period on both when you download the software from their site.

If you don't see your GRE or Radio Shack scanner listed on one of these sites, it is not really software programmable (such as the Radio Shack PRO-94).

Small commercial 800 MHz BNC antenna                                                                               ANT-1

This is a 4" high antenna for your scanner or 800 MHz 2-way. Has a BNC connector (the bayonet-type connector used on Radio Shack and GRE scanners, and earlier Uniden scanners). Will fit most scanners. On the Uniden BCD-396T or XT, you can use the SMA to BNC adapter that comes with the radio, or specify the SMA model (below). Designed to work best on 800 MHz, not just fairly well on all bands like the stock antenna, and it still receives other bands, too. It's shorter than the fat stock antenna, which helps keep it out of your ribs, and the lower part covers the antenna connector on the PSR-500/PRO-106/PRO-651 very nicely.

Also available for radios which use an SMA connector (the small screw-on connector), such as the newer Uniden scanners.

Just specify on your order that you want an SMA model.

    $20
